Heikki Kangasniemi is one of the most talented exponents of the Irish violin in Finland. In Sirkus he also plays the mandoline. This violin virtuoso also plays in several folk music bands and is well known from the Mukaralla childrens' band which has made appearances in series of childrens' concerts on Finnish TV.

The original and sonorous guitar playing of Petri Keinonen creates the base of the Sirkus sound. He is the singer of the band and interprets stories and tales with strong emotions. Petri also works for the theatre.

The bass of Keijo Keinonen sounds as dark and full as Irish stout. This instrument is not heard so often in folk music, but in Sirkusband it gives rich character to the ensemble sound.
